Welcome to Durban Church Net

April 19th, 2009

Hi,

For a few months this website have been lying doing nothing. I decided as there is a large amount of traffic visiting DCN that to start with i will do some report back on churches my wife and i visit from time to time. Easter Sunday morning we visited a brother church in chatsworth. In the service i felt as if the Lord was telling me to report my visit at the church. Well what better way to do it on the website as there is so many readers out there that would appreciate the information i will be providing.

To start with i would like to mention this;

I am a born again child of God and so i only visit churches that preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The purpose of these report is to glorify Jesus. Jesus said that when we exsperience His Glory we must tell the world and by telling the world people will be saved.

I have no issue visiting any church that preaches the Gospel whether it is a baptist, charismatic, afrikaans, ags, afm, full gospel or so many small independant churches. The purpose of the church should be to bring people in to the Kingdom of God - isn’t that what the Gospel is all about.

I don’t visit these churches to judge them for there wrong doing but only to report the Glory of God. i listen to a lot of preachers and many believe there church is the correct way as they heard from God. Well i only listen to Jesus and if he led me to a church i will report on it as i exsperienced his Glory.

i am not a writer so dont exspect perfection on this website but i will try my best to make the report as readable as possible.

If you have a special event that you think might be of interest let us know and we will add it to a calendar page to inform people. Currently as i live in Durban i will only be visiting churches in Durban but as we travel whereever we go we will report on our visits.

You see easter Sunday it was such a blessing to worship Jesus and i felt such a tangible presence in the church we visited. My wife and i was the only whites in a indian church and we were blessed, by the worship, the word that was preached and the fellowship. i will report later on with some pictures where we were.

This morning we visited a afrikaans church in Sea View and was blessed by the ministry of Danie Botha. i will report on that later as well

For now have a blessed week

Greetings

Johan
